We are so happy this post is sponsored by Disney!
Well, they did it - a movie better than the original book! Please understand we are all huge fans of Judith Viorst's book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. I read it to my little brother every night growing up for a looooong time! Every night. But, Disney did it creating their own Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, and did it with flying colors and laughs! I couldn't be more thrilled with the new movie our entire family absolutely laughed out loud and raved about it! It's one of those movies we wanted to watch again the next night (and did). Rent, stream or buy, your choice - just WATCH it! And don't miss the special features...they're fabulous!
Our Popcorn Recipes:
Coconut Oil and Ceylon Cinnamon - melt the coconut oil and mix throughout the popcorn and sprinkle the Ceylon Cinnamon on top!
Grass fed organic butter and Atlantic sea salt - melt the organic butter and mix in a bit of sea salt and then mix throughout the popcorn add any extra salt, as needed.
I use only organic Non-GMO popcorn (look for bags at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods Market)
We have this Cuisinart Popcorn Maker. Super easy and the kids (and myself) love to watch the popcorn pile out and making your own is also infinitely healthier than buying GMO, chemical laden microwave popcorn.
Whatever movie you watch with your family on family movie night. Let all the kids have a say in the movie and snacks. Let them help get ready and enjoy each other's company. And don't forget to turn OFF your phones. They need and crave your undivided attention.
