Carrots 'N' Cake

So I got Carrots 'N' Cake in the mail to review, and thought...oh, this is like the blog I followed last year, before I got pregnant and severe morning sickness set in!  It IS from the blog, and though it is not a cookbook per se, it does have recipes (AMAZING) at the end of each chaper. The author, Tina Haupert talks about her life and how Carrots 'N' Cake blog came into being.  In each of the eighteen chapters, she talks about different subjects: her relationship with food, her workout routines, jobs, and ultimately how she developed her blog,  Carrots 'N' Cake  into a favorite among foodies!

This picture is of the carrot cake I made from the recipe in the book.  Ok, so clearly I am NOT a great photographer, but trust me...nothing short of spectacular!!
Can I just say the Carrot Cake recipe alone, is worth buying the book!! Seriously, I finished the book two days before Easter.  The last recipe in the book is carrot cake, I thought, this is the perfect Easter dessert!  So fitting for Spring!  The cake was nothing short of spectacular!  It is my family's new favorite cake, which is saying alot since we don't seem to think of something as dessert unless chocolate is involved!! I am buying one for my mom, also a lover of food (and carrot cake)!!

Check out author Tina and her  Carrots 'N' Cake blog for yourself.

I received this book (happily) from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

Stopping in from the Wednesday The Product Review Place Challenge!!! I'm giving you some blogger love! Following you on GFC, Twitter and Facebook!!!

I LOVE reviewing cookbooks and reading cookbook reviews! Looks like you have some food happening over here! I'd love to have you be guest chef on my blog. That just means you give me a post with a recipe and something about your blog and I link & promote it all back to you. It can be a new recipe or something you have posted you your blog.

Off to look around! This is a great review of the cookbook and the carrot cake looks delish! Susie with The Product Review Place and my personal blog, SusieQTpies Scraps of Life
