Epson Artisan 1430 Inkjet Printer - Printing Brilliance!

Thank you for stopping by little island studios, please subscribe by email to follow along in family fun!

I am pleased to announce today's post is sponsored by Epson Printers!

Moms, as you are getting geared up for summer and taking loads of pictures of your little ones, to capture every moment of fun, don't forget that your photo printer can make all the difference!
I have not had a new printer in years and to be honest had no idea of how multi-functional they had become!  Epson was kind enough to send me an Artisan 1430 Photo Printer to try out with my new Mac.  And yes, I was immediately thrilled because of the word - Artisan...sounds so foodie...sooo me!

The pictures print perfectly the first time!

The first pictures I printed were of our trip to the White House and the Ocean (Maryland).
These are the pictures - layed out on my desk.  The photo paper is absolutely top notch as-is the quality of the print!

If you'll notice the large picture of little one running is printed on regular printing paper, not photo paper.  I had thought it would take a few tries for me to get the paper and settings right on the Epson.   Not so!  It printed absolutely perfect the very first time I did it!  I would love to say I am that savvy with technical gadgets and gear...but I am most certainly not.  The Epson worked the first time and did the job the way it should.  Perfect!

When I push "print" this screen comes up - I pick the size and it prints.  Easy Peasy!

My Notes:

I have never had an Epson, but knew their name and products to be of top notch quality from a lovely relative that has been in the photography and computer fields for years - so I knew of the name and did have high expectations.

I absolutely recommend the Epson Artisan and I will be buying Epson products from here on out!

The Artisan is wireless - my computer is in my office/bedroom/playroom and the computer is downstairs in the dining room.  I push print from my computer and voila - it prints downstairs...absolutely fantabulous!

I know that digital pictures are fashionable and what everyone does now.  And I suppose displaying them on digital frames is the "thing" too.  However,  I want and need a real picture!  One that I can hang on my fridge and do not need to power up my phone to look at.

My kids love creating Smash Books and crafts with pictures.  I had been ordering them online and having to pick them up at the Target Photo department.  I cannot imagine doing that now - as it is so very easy to push a button and have it printed within seconds  - and without giving up any quality what-so-ever.

In my opinion the Artisan printed them (way) better than the photo store does! (ask my husband...I was running up and down the stairs from my office/bedroom/playroom (where my computer is) putting photo paper in the Artisan (which is in another room)  laughing at what a fantastic job it was doing!  Yes, I know what you are thinking...it was quite a site!)  The kids thought so too. ;D

Huge thank yous to Epson for providing me with the Artisan Printer for review purposes.  No other compensation was received and opinions are my own - I am highly impressed with this printer and would absolutely recommend to my readers and moms!

The above picture of me holding my Starbucks in front of the White House, was after 23 hours of traveling cross country on a train with a toddler and I am covered in barf.  So, really...it's a great picture of me when you take all of that into consideration ;D
Happy Traveling, Lovelies!

Sounds like a good one! I'll add it to our potential new printer list. We've been thinking about getting a new one! Thanks for the review.

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear."
She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
