I have to say, I have been super busy and have not done any specific posts for Earth Day.  I really am not sure why you would only celebrate and make "green" efforts one day a year?   If you really want to make a difference - start with your own family and the foods and products you eat and buy.

I use only healthy, real food baking ingredients!

What is it going to take for everyone to get involved and make a change?

Some Tips For Celebrating Earth Day - Everyday!

Buy organic whenever possible.
As you know, I am a foodie and absolutely love to talk, cook, bake and discuss food in general.  We must get back to real food in this country, our health is paying for it.
We must get our kids involved - for their future health!
Homemade whipped cream, fresh organic strawberries and baking brownies with coconut sugar - dessert can be delish and organic!
Products with the Trader Joe's name are NON-GMO!!  Yes, I shop at Trader Joes! Delish!
Reading labels is so important.  Look for the Organic, Fair-Trade, NON-GMO.  The less ingredients, the better.  Avoid fake colors, GMOs, ingredients you cannot pronounce.  Just skip it!  Currently companies are not required to label GMOs.  Look for companies verifying their products are NOT

Get your kids involved!  Talk about foods and where they come from.  Talk about what is in season.  Go through fun cookbooks together and let them pick out some thing to cook (with your help)!

Shop with the kids - Bring a list and read labels together and make healthy choices together.

Where I shop -  Whole Foods, Trader Joes and the Organic sections of any "regular" market.
Making fresh organic baby food - easy peasy!

Learn more about GMOs   Genetically engineered foods - Huge contributors of today's
rapid increases in Alzheimer's disease, asthma, autism, birth defects, Cancer, infertility, Parkinson's, obesity and so many more.

Add some style to your Earth Day!

Love Jessica Alba's new book - The Honest Life!

Enjoy saving the Earth in style!  Fabulous new WWF Hippo print from The Honest Co!
(I use and order Honest Co diapers & products...absolutely LOVE them!)
If every mom and dad would get involved and demand change and choose it with every dollar we spend - We CAN make a difference for our children!

Unless someone like YOU cares a whole awful lot.  Nothing is going to get better.  It's not. - The Lorax
