The Honest Company Teams Up With World Wildlife Fund For Eco-Conscious Focused Programs to Celebrate Earth Hour and Earth Day!

Beginning in March and through the month of April, trusted eco-friendly and always non-toxic family essentials brand, The Honest Company, is partnering with World Wildlife Fund to create fun programs in line with the company’s focus on promoting heath and sustainability by challenging Americans to make choices that positively impact our planet.  The programs will encourage fans to think consciously about their everyday choices and make a change starting with Earth Hour and leading up to Earth Day on April 22nd.

Here is What's Going On. What are you participating in?

Wednesday, March 13th- Sunday, March 23rd honest.com/earthhour

Starting Wednesday, March 13th and leading up to the annual “lights out” Earth Hour (on March 23rd at 8:30pm), The Honest Company is calling for friends to pledge to switch to one non-toxic, eco-friendly product in their home and participate in Earth Hour at Honest.com. If over 10K people participate, the entire Honest offices – including founders Jessica Alba and Christopher Gavigan – will adhere to their children’s wardrobe selections for one work day, which will be documented on the Honest blog and Twitter pages. All participating pledgers will also receive 20% off orders at www.Honest.com/earthhour

Earth Hour 2013
March 23rd- 8:30pm-9:30pm

During Earth Hour, The Honest Company encourages everyone to turn the lights off for one hour to join in the world’s largest mass participation event that has become the iconic symbol of people’s commitment to protect the planet. Since 2007, the symbolic hour has grown from a one-city initiative to a 7,001-city/town global movement, which reached an estimated 2 billion people in 152 countries and territories across all seven continents- even the Empire State Building turns off the lights!

Honest Goes Hippo
April 8th -April 22nd

Paying homage to our planet’s wildlife, The Honest Company has gone hippo! Adding to the stylish suite of Honest diapers, the green and white non-toxic Hippo diaper design will give your kid a stylish bum while helping raise awareness for wildlife conservation! And in honor of the newest hippo-patterned diaper (available in the curated diaper bundle or for single purchase order), The Honest Company is donating $10,000 to WWF to support conservation efforts towards protecting hippos and other endangered animals. The first 1,000 customers, who order the hippo diapers on Honest.com will receive a symbolic Honest/WWF hippo e-adoption kit.

If you are wondering... I am absolutely a huge fan of  The Honest Company and yes, I pay (happily) for my own subscription for diapers & also the cleaning goodies!  Opinions are my own. (The diapers are absolutely adorable!!)

I looked all over the place to see if I could find a sneak peek of the Hippo print. No luck! Guess I'll have to wait until next month to see it. I just love their diapers with all the cute prints. Haven't really tried any of the other products, though.

I'm late to the party but I knew about it. My teens celebrated it by turning off all their electronics and read by candle light. lol
