Stonyfield Very Berry Smoothie Pancakes for Kids!

Thank you for stopping by little island studios, please subscribe by email to follow along in family fun!
As you know, I am a huge fan of Stonyfield Organic Yogurts, I am always looking for new ways to incorporate healthy ingredients in my recipes.

I ran out of milk *gasp* last weekend and thought what fun it would be to use Yo Kids Smoothies instead.  Fun and absolutely delicious!  Wow!  If you are in need of a new breakfast idea for your kiddos, try these pancakes, they just might be your new favorite.  The delicious smell of very berry pancakes cooking is a perfect way to get your teen out of bed, as well!
Very Berry Smoothie Pancake ingredients.

1 1/2 cups of flour (unbleached & unbrominated)
1 teas. baking powder
1 teas. of cinnamon
1 2/3 cups of Very Berry Smoothie
1 lgr. organic egg
2 tbs of grapeseed oil (with extra for cooking)

Mix dry ingredients together.  Add wet ingredients and mix until blended.  Heat pan and add grapeseed oil.  When hot, add a small ladle of the batter.  Flip sides after about a minute and a half (depending on your stove).

Optional:  One pouch of Plum Kids Beetbox Berry  - this gives your pancakes brighter color, more vitamins with NO fake colors.                                                                                   1/2 cup of 60% chocolate chips (run through 3 pulses in blender for smaller pieces)

Serve hot and with fresh organic real butter and pure maple syrup.
This just may be your new favorite breakfast!
Enjoy!

I used Very Berry flavor in my recipe,  Strawbana is also available.
My Notes:
Plum Kids pouches are absolutely fantastic and can be added whenever you want to sneak in nutrients in your kiddos meals and you didn't have time to puree fresh ingredients.

I use organic ingredients whenever possible.

Whether you use Stonyfield or not, organic is so important, especially for diary products!
Grapeseed oil, walnut and avocado would work well with this as well. (I never use canola)

I am proudly a member of the Stonyfield Yo Getters and Clean Plate blogging teams.  My cookware is sponsored by Cuisinart French Classic.  No compensation was provided from either company.  Opinions are my own.  I cannot say enough good things about Stonyfield or my fabulous French cookware. (whether I blog for them or not.)
