It's a Big World, Little Pig!

It's a Big World, Little Pig, by Kristi Yamaguchi

I just got this new children's picture book and absolutely love it! It's so hard sometimes for kids (and adults) to make friends, especially going to a new place or country.  Poppy gets an amazing opportunity to follow her dreams to Paris, FrancePoppy is a little unsure if she will make any friends but, she quickly meets some new girls and discovers not how different everyone is...but how much they have in common.

The thing I like the most about this book is the author, Kristi Yamaguchi, does not focus on winning (they actually never tell you who won); but focuses on her family being proud of her for following her dreams (whatever that may be), and the whole experience of the amazing adventure!

Whether you like ice skating or not...girl or boy, no matter what nationality...we all smile in the same language.
gorgeous colour and art!

"It's a big world, little pig, but remember that everyone smiles in the same language!" - Poppy's friend, Emma.

Wow!! One hundred percent of Kristi's profits from It's a Big World, Little Pig! will benefit early childhood literacy programs supported by her Always Dream Foundation!

I received (happily) this from the publisher for review purposes and did not receive any other compensation. Opinions as always are my own. .
