It is almost Spring, but the weather in your area may not be cooperating, sometimes it takes a spectacular book and the baby's nap time to lighten your mood.  These are some of my favourites, books to be read and pondered, often!

My Life in France by Julia Child

Whether or not you are a chef or foodie, this book is inspiring and encouraging to always go after your dreams.  Did you know, Julia was not always a chef?  The travels and places she and her husband, Paul, go to are absolutely fantastic...beware though...it does make one yearn to travel :D

An Embarrassment of Mangoes by Ann Vanderhoof

Everyones dream right?  Quite your job and go sailing to the islands! 

We'll not discuss exactly how many times I have read this book...read it.  You'll see! 

Mediterranean Summer by David Shalleck

Alright, if you can't afford to quit your job and go sailing;  Take a job on one!!  The author takes a job as a chef on a private yacht.  Such an easy and fun adventurous read!
